Amid all the noise in our lives, we take this moment

The Buddhists say, All is dukkha

Enter into the communion of flowers

Eternal spirit, we witness

God, God is water sleeping

Gracious and loving Lord, in perfect assurance of Your presence here

Here is where it all begins. It cannot be otherwise

How beautiful is this day

How does one address a mystery?

I do not know if the seasons remember their history

I do not like the "I hate it" feeling, but I have it

I invite you into a space of quiet and peace

I invite you now into a time of

If there is a heaven, it is right here, right now

In reflecting upon the dispiriting time in which we live

In our time of meditation this morning

In the moments when Word is silence

In this time of anticipated spring

The journeys of our lives are never fully charted

Let there always be a time for forgiveness

Let us be gentle with ourselves just now

Let us join in a moment dedicated to that quiet power

Let us join our hearts and minds together

Let us picture in our minds the flaming chalice

Let us praise those fathers

Let us rejoice for the families who have gathered this Thanksgiving

Let us remember the children

Let us take a moment to settle into the silence

Like pendulums we swing from hunger to hunger

May we look with gratitude upon this day

May you rest in the grace of the world and be free

The moment of prayer is an invitation to be calm

Much of our human struggle is with what we do not know

My fried Marcy and her boyfriend Brian recently

Now, in shared quietness, we shall listen to the wisdom

Now is the moment of magic

On Mother's Day, one expects to read about the wonder and glory of motherhood

Once upon a time there was an old man who lived alone

Palm Sunday is found

Some days dark tremors sweep across our lives
George Kimmich Beach

Somewhere across the world

Spirit of life, in us and around us, here is our chance

Stretch back in memory to the first time you joined

There is rarely enough silence in our services

To escape the trap of public acclaim

To the God above God we turn our thoughts

We are confronted with all that we do not know

We are each different. Some of us are bigger

We are in the midst of the season of celebration

We exist within

We give thanks for the earth and its creatures

We give thanks for this day and for these people

We have reason to celebrate, to be grateful, to be proud

We have returned again to the time of Atonement

We join our hearts and minds together

We know the leaves are dying

We pause in the stillness to rest for a moment

We praise the faithfulness of those who went before

We remember the many connections that sustain

When I was a child, the day after Thanksgiving

When my mind is still and alone

Who can be certain where the self stops?

Wouldn't it be great if you could take a picture of your soul?
