For all our Unitarian Universalist diversity, worship is our most common activity. Sunday after Sunday, whatever else it does, a congregation gathers for worship. This guide is designed especially for those who plan and lead worship. It contains both theoretical discussion and practical suggestions, as well as sample orders of service and examples of service elements. This work is more suggestive than directive. We hope it may stimulate the creative work of many. After all, liturgy means the "work of the people."
