About the Workshop:
Since its official founding in October 1997, United Power for Action and Justice has developed an agressive agenda for social justice for the metropolitan area, from health care for the uninsured to affordable homes for working families. This workshop will examine the collaboration among diverse religious institutions, community organizations, health care organizations, and labor unions that makes this broad-based organization different from others--and successful.
