Embracing the Challenges and Opportunities: Cyberspace and Your Congregation

About the Workshop:
This workshop focuses on the affordability and accessibility that this medium offers,
and the very exciting ways in which programs and services can be delivered -- and
attendance built! Most any urban congregation -- any congregation -- has within it
or around it, resources that would allow it to move into the electronic communication
realm. People do not have to own fancy equipment to do this -- they have to be interested
in it (hobby or vocation). People find congregations in different ways now, and
congregations have to be responsibe to that challenge...at whatever level their activity
and membership will support. That means that they have opportunities to attract people
through their outreach programs, through their ministries. What better way to witness
those things, than through the web.
