This resource is for use by taskforce members, UUA staff, congregational leaders (youth and adult), district leaders (youth and adult), members of LREDA and UUMA chapters, and others wishing to inform and engage their peers and colleagues in the process. It can be used as an outline for workshops or presentations at meetings and conferences of youth and adults.

Congregational Conversations
Congregational Commitments : This is a sign-up form for use at workshops and information sessions about the Consultation on Ministry to and With Youth. The Taskforce asks that each congregation committed to holding a congregational conversation in April/May identifies one contact person to receive the process guide. This person will also be listed on this website as the contact (without their e-mail or other information), so that members of a congregation can know who to go to for more information or to get involved.”

This letter, to youth and parents of youth who have left the congregation and/or the youth program, can be adapted to the needs of your congregation. The input of these youth could be very valuable for your congregation, and by inviting them to take part in the conversation you are demonstrating that their opinions are welcome and important.
