Why is anti-oppression and anti-bias work integral to lifespan faith development?

Ours is a living faith. We need to intentionally put their faith in action. The meaning of faith is deepened when we actively engage in the transforming process of making anti-oppression work central to both who we are and what we do as Unitarian Universalists. Our Principles challenge us to embody faith. We cannot recognize the inherent worth and dignity of every person without making anti-oppression/anti-bias work explicit. In this process we grow in faith, we become truly welcoming, and we become creators of our beloved community.
