Support Youth, Young Adult/Campus Ministry
Join Us in Celebrating
Youth and Young Adult Sunday in October of 2002

Announced at this past General Assembly, Youth and Young Adult Sunday is a special Sunday service celebrating and honoring the importance of Unitarian Universalist youth and young adult/campus ministries. These ministries focus on the needs of our younger members and ensure that they remain connected to our faith during the many transitions they deal with before becoming settled, adult members in our congregations. They are a crucial link between our children's religious education and our adult community. Supporting these ministries is essential for the health and growth of our faith. Knowing that youth (ages 14-20) and young adults (ages 18-35) have needs that differ from our general adult membership, and that we want them to stay connected to our faith, greater support for these ministries is necessary. During Youth and Young Adult Sunday services there will be an opportunity for those attending to make a contribution in support of Youth and Young Adult/Campus ministry. The funds raised by Youth and Young Adult Sunday will be added to the youth and young adult funds raised by the Campaign for Unitarian Universalism, our Association's capital campaign. The combined goal of these two efforts is $4 million in support of Youth and Young Adult/Campus Ministry! Seeing the opportunities we can create together for our younger members, we hope you will join us.

How To Get Started:
