NEW YOUTH ADVISOR TRAINING PROGRAM!
Calling All Youth Groups
& Youth Advisors!
Now your youth group advisor team can get the training it needs to support your congregation's commitment to ministry with youth!
Advisors are recommended to attend the following trainings:
- Leadership Development Conference (Youth & Adults)
- Spirituality Development Conference (Youth & Adults)
- Basic Youth Advisor Training
- Advanced Youth Advisor Training (must complete basic advisor training first)

HOW TO SCHEDULE A TRAINING:
Leadership development, spirituality development, and basic youth advisor trainers can be scheduled to come to your district through the Youth Office. The Planning Guide and training request forms are available at www.uua.org/YRUU.
WHY DOES MY CHURCH NEED TRAINED ADVISORS?:
- We must support and train those who are doing ministry with our youth.
- Advisor burnout and turnover can be prevented if our advisors are well trained.
- Advisors are on the front line of care for the future leaders of our denomination, the importance of their work merits recognition.

LREDA, support for Religious Educators...
Additional support for youth advisors is available by joining The Liberal Religious Educators Association (LREDA). Youth advisors are now welcome to join. As a youth advisor member of LREDA you can utilize the good offices support person in your district for consultation and support. This person is trained in conflict resolution, and is there to support religious educators in their ministry.
