"Quiet Boxes" We have small, white cigar-type boxes filled with a UU Principles bookmark, crayons, pencil, pad, pipe cleaners, and stickers. The boxes sit outside the meetinghouse and kids who decide they prefer to stay with their parents during the service pick one up on their way into the service. The boxes also get regular use in intergenerational services and when the kids are in for the first 20 minutes of a service. Rev. Jory Agate, First Parish UU, Cambridge, MA
