Weaving Worship to Welcome Young Adults by Suzelle Lynch, 1995.
Sunday morning worship is the central organizing event in the life of a UU congregation. It's the time when we come together, in community, to connect with each other and with a sense of meaning greater than ourselves. So why are Young Adults -- people aged 18-35 -- such a minority in our congregations on Sunday morning? This paper offers suggestions for weaving UU worship that is meaningful and attractive to Young Adults. Free -- included in the Young Adult/Campus Ministry Information Packet

Articulting (Y) Our Faith

A Creative Way to Explore and Express the Basics of UUism by Barbara Wells & Jaco B. ten Hove, May 2000.
Responding to the complaints they have heard through-out their ministry about how difficult it is to describe UUism, Barbara and Jaco designed this workshop Leader's Guide (with an Addendum of Resources). They have found creative ways to encourage folks over the hurdles that keep them from expressing their UU faith to others. While written with Young Adults in mind, it can be productively adapted and used by all generations, youth and older.

Building Your Spiritual Home by Caitlin Anderson and Mary Ann Macklin, 1995.
The Young Adult years are ones filled with unique, ongoing changes and transitions. Is it possible to deal with these transitions and maintain a sense of a well-balanced, inner self?
