The Unitarian Universalist Partner Church Council (UUPCC) is a UUA affiliate dedicated to “fostering and supporting relations between North American UU congregations and their overseas partners.” The UUPCC offers both customized and regularly scheduled educational and inspirational trips for UU youth to learn about their Unitarian history and roots in Transylvania, visit significant religious and historic sites, experience rural village life, and have an opportunity to meet with Unitarians from other countries. Past participants have described the experience as “life-changing.” For more information about the UUPCC, trip descriptions, and RE materials, visit our website at www.uua.org/uupcc External Site.

Sixth Annual Youth Pilgrimage - July 27-August 10, 2005
For youth ages fifteen to nineteen. Travel with other UU youth from around the U.S. and Transylvania and experienced chaperones. Learn about Unitarian history in Transylvania and get to know the people in your partner village during a three-day visit to your partner church. Along the way you’ll learn about the roots of our Unitarian faith, hike in some beautiful country, meet Transylvanian Unitarian young people and have a great time! (Cost $2,500 per person – roundtrip airfare from Boston to Budapest included). Visit www.uua.org/uupcc External Site for application materials and other trip information.
