Once their participation in the trainings has been verified, they will receive a letter of recognition from the Youth Office. Verification Forms will be processed twice a year. The Chrysalis Manual and Verification Forms are available at www.uua.org/YRUU/training. Contact the Youth Office for print copies – available via mail or fax.

CHRYSALIS MANUAL
The manual includes an introduction, detailed program descriptions, How it Works, Verification Form, Anti-Racism Grassroots Plan of Action, and a sample worship ceremony congregations can put on for their youth and adults who go through the program. The manual can be downloaded on the YRUU website at www.uua.org/YRUU/training. You may also request a free copy by contacting the Youth Office.

SCHEDULING
Most Chrysalis trainings offered by the UUA Youth Office are coordinated by district or regional youth/adult committees. Forms for requesting trainers are available on the YRUU website. The Youth Office provides leadership teams and program materials, while the host district is responsible for registrations, publicity, and local arrangements for hosting the training. Renaissance modules are not scheduled through the Youth Office; for info contact the Religious Education Credentialing Office 617-948-4617.

COST
The participants, district or regional leadership, and the UUA Youth Office share the cost of sponsoring a Chrysalis training. The district or region hosting the training will determine the cost of attendance based on their own costs, which include: Meals, site cost, a travel equalization fee paid to the UUA Youth Office for providing trainers, and stipends paid directly to both trainers. There is no cost for receiving a Chrysalis letter of recognition.
