Did you know that there is an online collection of Unitarian Universalist worship resources including prayers, meditations, readings, full orders of service, and words to open or close worship services? It's called Worship Web, and it is a part of the UUA Web site and the Lifespan Faith Development Staff Group. The site can be found here: www.uua.org/worshipweb.

Worship Web, started in 1999, is being revitalized with many new materials and resources. The next generation of Worship Web materials will be linked to a Unitarian Universalist Liturgical Calendar. So there will be prayers, readings, benedictions, etc., that correspond with occasions in the church year. For example, if you clicked on "Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday," you could find worship resources applicable to that occasion.

We plan to provide resources for the following occasions and more, including:

Labor Day,
Homecoming,
Teacher Dedication,
Autumn Equinox,
Yom Kippur,
Blessing Of The Animals,
United Nations Day,
All Souls Day,
Thanksgiving,
Winter Solstice,
Christmas Eve,
Kwanzaa,
New Year's Day,
Scout Sunday,
Martin Luther King Sunday,
Black History/Whitney Young/James Reeb,
Youth Sunday,
Membership Sunday,
Spring Equinox,
Passover Seder,
Canvass Sunday,
Easter,
Earth Day,
Mother's Day,
Children's/Religious Education Sunday,
Memorial Day,
Partner Church Observation,
Flower Communion,
Coming Of Age,
Father's Day,
Teacher Recognition Sunday,
Graduation Recognition,
Summer Solstice,
And more!

Worship Web is seeking contributions of original material from clergy, religious educators, and lay leaders alike. We invite you to share your worship writings with the rest of us. Together we will build a treasury of resources to enrich worship and religious practice in our congregations. As it grows, Worship Web will serve our congregations better, as well as the larger association of which we are a part.

Worship materials can be sent by email to: worshipweb@uua.org. Or by postal mail to: Barbara Gifford, UUA, 25 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02108. Please also fill out and send this brief permissions form with your submission: www.uua.org/worshipweb/submission_form.doc Word Document.

Thanks for visiting and contributing to Worship Web!
