The Family Matters Task Force (FMTF) booklet series, Taking It Home: Families and Faith, is written for congregations and families to use at home and in the community to support them through life transitions and with spiritual and ethical challenges. The six booklets in the series and their UU authors, who have diverse, faith-filled families of their own, are listed below.

Nancy Palmer-Jones & Pat Hoertdoerfer Let's Talk About Respect
Jacqueline Clement Let's Talk About Time/Money Balance
Pat Hoertdoerfer & Lynn Ungar Let's Talk About Marriage and Committed Relationships
Colleen McDonald Let's Talk About Divorce and Broken Relationships
Carol Galginaitis Let's Talk About Families and Loss
Sparrow Alden Let's Talk About Interfaith Families

Every booklet includes sections defining the theme, relating the theme to the wellsprings of our UU faith, identifying the theme across the lifespan, describing activities for families to try at home or with other families in their congregation, listing resources for families to pursue. The purpose of these resources is to bring families together to talk about significant and complex life issues and to bring the gifts of our Unitarian Universalist faith to the many dimensions of family life.

These booklets are also published on the UUA Web site, www.uua.org/families. Enjoy your family times!
