The Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History Presents:
Increasing Global Awareness Through Stamps
The Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History
Weston, MA 02493This special exhibit and program uses stamps in the Spellman Museum's collection to help children learn about:
- Symbols of peace and social justice
- The role of the United Nations and the Universal Postal Union
- Global social issues on the stamps of the United Nations such as the Declaration of Human Rights, International Peace Year, International Year of the Family, and Combating Racism
- Global social reformers who worked for change without violence
Availability: The exhibit and program are available from October 2003 until January 2004.
Grades: The program may accommodate children in grades 1 to 5.

Weston, MA 02493Cost: $75 for a pre-visit by Spellman Museum staff to your congregation and $3 per child to visit the museum and participate in the program.
