Continental Advisor Training Application
Training of Trainers
December 6-7-8, 2002
Harvard, MAMinistry with youth is one of the most important areas within our Unitarian Universalist faith. Providing the support, care, interest, and fun that youth require can be a challenging role even for the most committed adult. To help combat the struggles of a youth advisor the Youth Office of the Unitarian Universalist Association developed the Basic Advisor Training. Over a weekend, the attendees learn activities, youth empowerment, community building and other skills to help in the position. These conferences are offered to districts and are lead by two trained leaders, one of whom is a youth, and one who is an adult.
