The UUA offers a wide variety of resources and services for member congregations and lay and professional leaders. These include:

  • Congregational Services: support for the health and growth of congregations and other UU communities. This staff group offers helpful information and resources on Congregational Fundraising, Growth Resources and conferences, Young Adult & Campus Ministry, Urban Congregations, Congregational Ethics & Safety, Lay Leadership, Data and Information Services, New Congregation Formation, Congregational Justice Making, and Religious Education Covenanting.

  • Social Justice: takes Unitarian Universalist values out into the wider world. They work to insert Unitarian Universalist perspectives into public debates on the matters of the day through our media advocacy, through working in partnerships with other religious and secular organizations who share our viewpoints, and through empowering local congregations to do the same.

  • Ministry & Professional Leadership: encouraging excellence in professional religious leadership, this staff group serves ministers, religious professionals, and congregations by providing counsel, leadership, and resources. The staff group also provides information and support for education, credentialing, and settlement for ministers and religious educators, as well as counsel in career development, ministerial-congregational relations, and financial planning.

  • Lifespan Faith Development: provides information and resources to promote lifespan religious education and effective religious education leadership, nurture the religious growth of children, youth, and adults; and support and develop the religious life of families and communities.

  • Identity-Based Ministries: seeks to make Unitarian Universalism a welcoming, inclusive, empowering, and just faith for Unitarian Universalists who identify as bisexual, gay, lesbian, and/or transgender; economically oppressed; Latina/Latino and Hispanic; multiracial families; people of color; and people with disabilities.

  • Specialized Ministries information is also available with links from this page to the Church of Larger Fellowship, a congregation by phone, FAX, and internet spread around the world, the UUA International Office, the Spanish language website, Unitarios Universalistas, Young Religious UUs (YRUU), and the UU Young Adult Network & Campus Ministry Office.

In addition, the UUA hosts a variety of Communication Forums online to deepen and expand perspectives of UUism and promote sharing and dialogue between and among UU leaders and members as well as those who seek to understand more about our faith.
