Our
Whole Lives
Social Justice
Issues of justice have been central to the Unitarian Universalist Association
and the United Church Board for Homeland Ministries in the development of Our
Whole Lives. It is our religious faiths and values that compel us to support
justice and equity for people of all genders, races, backgrounds, income levels,
abilities, and sexual orientations. Both the United Church of Christ General
Synod and the Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly have passed
many resolutions in support of justice and equity. The following resolutions
relate specifically to sexuality, gender, sexual orientation, and reproductive
rights.
