Elizabeth
Casparian, Ph.D., co-author of Our Whole Lives: Sexuality Education
for Grades 4-6 and Our Whole Lives: Sexuality Education for Grades
10-12, has been a consultant in health and sexuality education for over
eleven years, writing and developing teaching materials and videos, and leading
training sessions and seminars with adolescents, parents, teachers and other
professionals. Co-author of Filling the Gaps, a book on hard-to-teach
topics in human sexuality, she has written and consulted on sexual health
issues with universities, public service organizations and schools.
Casparian holds a doctorate in Education Leadership in Human Sexuality from
the University of Pennsylvania.
Eva
Goldfarb, Ph.D., co-author of Our Whole Lives: Sexuality Education
for Grades 4-6 and Our Whole Lives: Sexuality Education for Grades
10-12, is an assistant professor in health programs at Montclair State
University where she teaches and conducts research in human sexuality, curriculum
development, and evaluation of health education programs. Co-author
of Filling the Gaps, a book on hard-to-teach topics in human sexuality,
she has over twelve years of experience teaching courses, leading workshops,
consulting on media projects, conducting seminars and developing curricula
in the areas of human sexuality and sexual health. Goldfarb holds a
doctorate in Human Sexuality Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
Freelance
writer and editor Richard Kimball, author of Our Whole Lives: Sexuality
Education for Adults, specializes in youth and adult education.
His recent work includes Life Skills Literacy, a series of reproducible
books for high school and adult classes; The Winds of Creativity: Finding
Fulfillment Through Creative Act and You the Creator, a curriculum
for youth and adults. He has more than two decades of experience as
an editor and developer of supplementary educational materials, a teacher
of sexuality education courses for young people and a trainer of adult leaders
of sexuality education programs. Kimball holds an M.A. in Journalism.
Barbara
Sprung, author of Our Whole Lives: Sexuality Education for Grades K-1,
is co-founder and co-director of Educational Equity Concepts, Inc., a national
nonprofit organization that conducts research and develops programs and resources
to eliminate bias due to gender, race/ethnicity, disability, and socioeconomic
status. She has authored childhood education resources including Learning
About Family Life, a K-3 curriculum; Quit It, a K-3 teacher's guide
addressing teasing and bullying; and two preteen books, Preteen Pressures:
Stress and Preteen Pressures: Death. Sprung holds a B.A.
in Early Childhood Education and an M.A. in Child Development.
Pamela
Wilson, M.S.W., author of Our Whole Lives: Sexuality Education for
Grades 7-9, has been an independent program consultant and trainer since
1983. She has developed and led sexuality education programs with youth
and families. She currently trains and develops curricula for educators
and counselors on issues of human sexuality and adolescent parenthood.
In addition, Wilson conducts training on diversity issues with nonprofit organizations
and corporations. She is the author of numerous publications, including
When Sex Is the Subject: Attitudes and Answers for Young Children.

The Reverend Jory Agate, co-author of Sexuality and Our Faith:
A Companion to Our Whole Lives Grades 7-9 and Sexuality and Our Faith:
A Companion to Our Whole Lives Grades 10-12 served as director of youth
programs at the Unitarian Universalist Association from 1992 to 1997, and
was a member of the Sexuality Education Task Force, which developed Our
Whole Lives. She is currently the minister of religious education at First
Parish (Unitarian Universalist) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Judith A. Frediani, author of Sexuality and Our Faith: A Companion
to Our Whole Lives for Adults, is the curriculum development director
for the Unitarian Universalist Association with responsibility for lifespan
programming. A member of the Sexuality Education Task Force, Judith serves
as the project editor of the Our Whole Lives curriculum series.
Sarah Gibb, editor of The Advocacy Manual for Sexuality Education,
Health and Justice: Resources for Communities of Faith and co-author of
Sexuality and Our Faith: A Companion to Our Whole Lives Grades 10-12
served as the outreach coordinator for the Sexuality Education Task Force
of the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church Board for
Homeland Ministries from 1997 to 2000. She is currently studying for
the ministry.
The Reverend Patricia Hoertdoerfer, author of The Parent Guide
to Our Whole Lives Grades K-1 and Grades 4-6, co-author of Sexuality
and Our Faith: A Companion to Our Whole Lives Grades K-1, and co-author
of Sexuality and Our Faith: A Companion to Our Whole Lives Grades 4-6,
is a Unitarian Universalist minister of religious education. She has been
the children's curriculum development director for the Unitarian Universalist
Association since 1993. She serves on the Sexuality Education Task Force and
is the editor of Our Whole Lives for Grades K-1 and Our Whole Lives
for Grades 4-6.
The Reverend Makanah Elizabeth Morriss is a co-author of four of Our
Whole Lives's religious supplements: Sexuality and Our Faith: A Companion
to Our Whole Lives Grades K-1; Grades 4-6; Grades 7-9; and Grades 10-12.
She served as director of the Unitarian Universalist Association's Department
of Religious Education from 1992 to 1998, and is a past co-chair of the Sexuality
Education Task Force that developed Our Whole Lives. With her husband
Bob Morriss, she is currently co-minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church
of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
