Monthly Mailing to Congregations
December 2004
Dear Friends,
In preparation for the winter holiday shopping season, there are a number of
gift ideas included in this month’s mailing: chalice jewelry from the
Church of the Larger Fellowship, new books from Skinner House and Lifespan Faith
Development, and a colorful new pamphlet that folds out into a poster with the
7 Unitarian Universalist principles in children’s language. Share these
with your congregation!
While not as imminent as the holidays, it’s not too early to start thinking
about next year’s GA! On this webpage, you will find resources relating
to General Assembly ’05 in Fort Worth, TX, including information about
nominations for the 2005 UUA elections and the annual Distinguished Service
Award, and a last call for submissions for the 2005-2007 Study Action Issue.
Pay special attention to the letter for church administrators about certified
membership numbers: the office of Data Services needs this information to be
able to certify your congregation’s GA delegates.
There are also quite a few other items below that should be of interest to
church administrators and DREs. Feel free to print out additional copies of
any of the items on this webpage, and to share this link with any who may be
interested.
Enjoy the winter holidays!
In Peace,
Erika Nonken
