Four years ago our son married a woman from Shanghai, who is now an American citizen (11 years). He just returned home after two weeks with his wife and our grandson visiting his in-laws and reported that there were no harsh feelings directed at him. He even went as far as to say that he sensed that there was an attitude of neutrality;the war with Iraq being so far away from them.
