Answers to Questions on UUA Programs

Have a question about Unitarian Universalism or the workings of the UUA, but not sure who to address it to? InterConnections has compiled some common topics, along with places to get answers about them, including ways to contact sources by e-mail, phone, and through Web sites.

A tip: If you have the capability, check the UUA Web site first: www.uua.org, searching by keyword for the information you need. Another comprehensive place to check is The Congregational Handbook, edited by Lawrence Palmeiri Peers. Each congregational office should have one and it's also available on the UUA Web site at www.uua.org/cde/handbook.

Also on the Web site is the UUA Guide to Services, an alphabetical listing with links to more detailed information. Go to www.uua.org/services.html. The district UUA offices are also valuable sources of information. Their addresses are in the Congregational Directory in your church office or on the Web site at www.uua.org/dist/services.html.

    Some specific topics:

    • Adult education programming: Contact the Rev. Marjorie Bowens-Wheatley; mbowens@uua.org; (617)742-2100, ext. 519. Web site: www.uua.org/adultpro.html .

    • Capital campaign: Considering a capital campaign for a new building or renovation of an old one? Contact Pamela Bachman, administrative assistant for Congregational Fundraising Services, pbachman@uua.org ; (617) 948-4251. Web site: www.uua.org/cde/fundraising.
