Explore the use of Singing the Living Tradition for worship in the Christian tradition. The annual UUCF hymn sing is always a high-spirited and energetic occasion of community music-making. A brief business meeting is also conducted.

Young Adult Caucus
Young Adult Caucus meetings provide a venue for Young Adults to discuss and, when appropriate, act on General Assembly business. "Young Adult" is loosely defined as 18-35 but, everyone is welcome. All the young adult related workshops, worships, and social activities are listed in the back of the Program.

Members of the Utah Indian community present a variety of traditional dances to celebrate the nurturing of respect, understanding and self-esteem in the young, and the ancient place of song, dance and drum in our native culture. A Blanket Dance will receive pledges for "Our Brightest Hope!", the American Tribal Colleges.

Actor Janette Moody repeats her stunning portrayal of Harriet Tubman, escaped slave and the Underground's most prominent conductor, returning to the South nineteen times taking 300 slaves to Canada. UUs are indebted for her abolition and sufferage work and to Women and Religion for bringing this performance to us.

Dave Jones, Senate Minority Whip for the Utah Senate, candidate for mayor of Salt Lake City, and member of 1st UU Church, Salt Lake City, will deliver the Jenkins Llyod Jones Lecture. He will discuss how a Unitarian Universalist in politics can have a positive effect of our urban regions.
