The Skinner Sermon Award, named in honor of Universalist theologian Clarence Skinner, is presented annually to the preacher of the sermon best expressing Unitarian Universalism's social principles. This year, the award was presented to the Rev. Jaco B. ten Hove (left) for his sermon "A Universalist Response to Racism." Rev. ten Hove, co-minister-elect of the Paint Branch UU Church (Adelphi, MD), first delivered the sermon January 17 at Jefferson Unitarian Church in Golden, CO.
