The Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship convened its annual General Assembly worship service on a Sunday evening in a windowless room in the lower level of the Fort Worth Convention Center. It was a setting and a time that evoked both Sabbat and the locations of many early Christian meetings.

The Rev. Craig Roshaven and a team from First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church in Fort Worth led the congregation in a service that included lively music, thoughtful readings, and a challenging sermon. And although the amphitheater-style seating posed a challenge, the resourceful team managed to serve communion to all who came.
