Program Coverage for Saturday, June 26th
The pace of GA picked up as weekend-only attendees swelled
the numbers to over 4,500. The second Plenary session included
the Executive Vice President's Report, a status report on
lifespan religious education, the vote on this year's Study
Action Issue (SAI), reports by Beacon Press and Amnesty International
USA, and the election of Gini Courter as Moderator.
The afternon included workshops in all the themes of GA,
as well as the Church of the Larger Fellowship's annual worship
service. The Bridging Ceremony celebrated young people's passage
into adulthood.
