The Awards Breakfast honors persons for outstanding volunteer leadership in congregations, districts, and continen-tally. Excellence in preaching on racial and social justice issues, volunteer work furthering the causes of anti-racism, gays, youth, global awareness, and other oppressions are recognized. Pre-purchased tickets to the buffet breakfast are required. Everyone is welcome to attend the awards presen-tation starting around 8:15am.

This service, led by the Department of Ministry, honors the profession of the fellowshipped religious leadership of the Association by remembering those ministers who have died in the past year, recognizing those who have completed active service, and welcom-ing those who have been granted fellowship. Retiring ministers and ministers receiving Final Fellowship will be recognized individually. The Rev. Barbara Pescan will preach the sermon "Only By Your Presence."
