First Unitarian Cincinnati sponsored a Reconciliation Weekend with local churches and 100+ descendants of Rev. WHG Carter, a Cincinnati African-American Unitarian minister (1918-30s) who was largely ignored by the denomination and local churches. We'll address our journey of reconciliation; our minister's role in preparing the congregation; and outcomes/next steps.
