Dr. Ysaye M. Barnwell will present the Starr King President’s Lecture at General Assembly. A songwriter and singer, Barnwell has performed since 1979 with the internationally renowned a capella quintet Sweet Honey in the Rock. She is also a health professional, educator and actor who has appeared in the film "Beloved" directed by Jonathan Demme.
