Where in the world are there UUs?

In Tierra del Fuego, Lilian Burlando put together a memorial service with UU material downloaded from the Internet; the service made a big impression on the locals. In Nigeria, where letters sometimes take two months, Rev. Matimoju of the First Unitarian Church of Lagos relies on e-mail from the ICUU for information about other Unitarian organizations. In more than 20 countries, Unitarians and Universalists are being kept in touch through the Internet resources of the International Council of Unitarians and Universalists, ICUU.

In Barcelona, Spain, Jaume de Marcos Andreau has created a new web site for the ICUU. If you want to find a Unitarian or Universalist church in another part of the world, the information is on this site.

There is also a new e-mail list for Spanish-speaking UUs. To join, go to the Spanish site at http://pagina.de/uuhispano#mailing.

Finally, would you be interested in sponsoring an ICUU program at your home congregation, perhaps to learn about the Unitarians in the Khasi Hills of Northeast India or somewhere else in the world? Contact Rev. Polly Guild at ptguild@mediaone.net.
