336 On-Line Ministerial Settlement: First Year Review

John Weston, UUA Ministerial Settlement Director, described the new on-line ministerial settlement system at http://www.uua.org/ministry/settlement/ and asked for feedback from users.
Last year, 61 web-savvy ministers were settled with help from this online system. This year, almost 100 ministers are expected to surf the UUA website. From the new site, candidates seeking a church can learn a lot about the churches that are in search.
However, users have experienced some frustrations. Participants agreed the system should be more user-friendly and more reliable. John Weston assured us that UUA technical experts are working on reducing these growing pains.
