About the Author
The Reverend Debra W. Haffner is the director of the Religious Institute
on Sexual Morality, Justice, and Healing. A sexologist for more than twenty
five years, she was ordained as a Unitarian Universalist minister in 2003
and is endorsed by the Unitarian Church in Westport. She teaches courses
on “Sexuality Issues for Ministers” at Union Theological Seminary
and Meadville-Lombard Seminary.
