The UUA Nominating Committee nominates candidates for committees, commissions, and positions of the UUA. Most of these positions are ones that require a degree of independence from the UUA Board of Trustees

Committees, commissions and positions filled by the UUA Nominating Commitee: General Assembly Planning Committee, Commission on Appraisal, Commission on Social Witness, Ministerial Fellowship Board of Review, At-Large positions on the Board of Trustees (Youth and Adult), Financial Advisor, and Nominating Committee.
