UUA, Boston, MA
Like your congregation, the UUA is more than the sum of its parts. It
is a vital and dynamic movement, a collective expression of our living
tradition and an effective instrument for serving congregational needs.

Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Association!
The Unitarian
Universalist Association (UUA) represents the interests of more
than one thousand Unitarian Universalist congregations, on a continental
scale. The UUA grew out of the consolidation, in 1961, of two
religious denominations: the Universalists, organized in 1793,
and the Unitarians, organized in 1825. Click here to read the
complete history of how we began and what we do.
Please refer to the menu on the left to read more about Unitarian
Universalism and the UUA itself. If this your first time to our
site consider visiting our For
Newcomers pages for introductory information to Unitarian
Universalism.
